Districts have program model choices when it comes to serving English learners through bilingual education. This session will break down the differences among the four state approved bilingual program models and explore national and statewide student outcomes for each. How do you know if you are implementing your district’s program model effectively?  TEA will share newly developed program model implementation rubrics for both transitional and dual language programs that can guide teachers, administrators, and campus leadership to examine their local practices and provide a pathway to enhancing local programs no matter what the starting point.
