Northside ISD has both dual language and early exit campuses. Due to urban sprawl, early exit classrooms are of mixed language groups; however, they are not dual language in the traditional sense. In order to foster inclusiveness, I used cultural iconography in children’s literature to nurture cohesiveness among students.
